You never know what is going on behind the scenes in someone’s life. Words have the power of making and breaking a person. That power can cause destruction strong enough to bring a person down. Sometimes literally.
DROWNED explores the lack of control one can feel and how stress can consume your life. I wanted to bring awareness to the idea of mental health and how much of an impact it can have on a person-especially when you have to continue to obey societal norms and rules regardless of how you feel. It is easy to feel trapped in one place while the world continues to turn. Sometimes the gravity of our problems multiply and force us to sink.
